Ingredients
See the recipe card for full information on ingredients and quantities.

- Cream cheese: I prefer whipped cream cheese for this recipe.
- Heavy whipping cream: Cold foam is basically a soft whipped cream (with other ingredients added), so you'll need some heavy whipping cream.
- 2% milk: Just a bit.
- Vanilla syrup: You can use a store bought or home made vanilla simple syrup. It gives this cold foam just a touch of sweetness.
Substitutions or variations
- Use a different syrup - You can make this cold foam your own by flavoring it in countless ways. Get creative with it! Make brown sugar cheesecake cold foam with brown sugar syrup or strawberry cheesecake cold foam with strawberry syrup.
How to make Cream Cheese Cold Foam

How to make cold foam without a milk frother
So you don't have a milk frother but still want to enjoy creamy, sweet cold foam? No problem. There are other ways to make cold foam! I talk about 3 alternate methods below.
- Mason jar - Put your ingredients in a Mason jar (or a jar with a tight fitting lid) and shake it like it owes you money.
- Blender - You can blend the cold foam ingredients in a regular blender or use an immersion blender to achieve a fluffy cold foam consistency.
- Whisk/hand mixer - Whether you want to do things fully manually with a whisk or use a hand mixer to help you out, you can put your ingredients in a bowl and whip them up this way
How to use your cold foam
- Cold brew coffee - This cheese foam would be so good on top of an ice cold glass of cold brew.
- Iced lattes - Add a bit of cream cheese cold foam to the top of any iced latte. It would be particularly good on a Carrot Cake Latte. Trust.
- Milk tea/bubble tea - Milk tea and boba are already delicious, but adding some cheese foam on top would really elevate things.
- Cheese tea - This drink originates from Taiwan, and usually involves iced green, black, or oolong tea topped with cheese foam. It's a delicious boba tea alternative.
- Iced matcha lattes - In addition to being delicious, the contrast between the white cold foam and green matcha would be so pretty!
