A Moscow Mule is is composed of plain vodka, ginger beer, and fresh lime juice. It's believed to have originated in the U.S. in the 1940s, not Russia, as the "Moscow" part of the name might imply.

It's traditionally served in a distinctive copper mug, which is 1) beautiful and 2) keeps the drink frosty cold.

  • Lime juice: Freshly squeezed, please!
  • Vodka: Use your favorite plain vodka.
  • Ginger beer: Ginger beers vary in sweetness and spiciness, so try a few and use your favorite.

👩🏻‍🍳 How to make a Moscow Mule

It's so easy!

Take your copper mug and fill it with ice. Add the vodka and lime juice. Top everything off with some ginger beer and garnish with a lime wedge!
