📝 Ingredients

This drink only requires THREE ingredients. We talk about them below, but see the recipe card for full information on ingredients and quantities.

ingredients for making a vampire's kiss martini.
  • Lemon juice: Freshly squeezed, please.
  • Cherry simple syrup: Cherry simple syrup gives this drink cherry flavor and a beautiful red color. You can use a homemade syrup or store bought one.
  • Cherry vodka: If you use homemade cherry vodka, it will impart color in addition to flavor. A store bought version will work, too, provided that you use a red cherry simple syrup.

🔀 Substitutions or Variations

  • Use plain vodka OR plain simple syrup. You can substitute plain vodka or store bought cherry vodka for the homemade cherry vodka OR plain simple syrup for the cherry simple syrup, but not both. You need either the

❓ Recipe FAQs

Is dry ice safe to use in cocktails?

Yep! This post will tell you a lot about how to use dry ice safely.

Do I need to use homemade cherry vodka and cherry simple syrup?

No, it's not mandatory. However, the homemade cherry vodka adds more color to the drink (unlike a clear, store bought vodka), as does the red cherry syrup.

Can I make more than one of these drinks at once?

Yes. Just double the amounts of each ingredient, shake 'em up, and strain the drinks into two glasses.
