Dirty Coke Floats | A Nerd Cooks

These ice cream floats are a delicious adult treat

These Dirty Coke Floats take a childhood classic treat and give it an adult flair. They're sweet, boozy, and super refreshing.

I couldn't resist making these floats

When a picture of these Dirty Coke Floats showed up in my Facebook feed, I knew that I had to make them. They looked so fun and tasty.

I found this recipe on the blog Dessert Now, Dinner Later! and modified it slightly.

These floats are pretty versatile!

The original recipe doesn't include any alcohol, but I couldn't help myself and added a little rum. If you'd rather stick with a mocktail, by all means, leave the rum out. These floats are easy and versatile like that. You can also use vanilla ice cream instead of coconut if you'd prefer a more classic float experience. Prefer Dr. Pepper over Coke (I know my husband does!)? Make that swap. This is a choose-your-own-adventure kind of float situation.

Cannot wait to indulge in one of these with friends by the pool this summer-- such a decadent treat! And it would be so great with limes from the grill! Thanks for sharing

Limes from the grill would make an excellent addition to this drink!! Great idea!
