Ingredients

  • 1 ounce lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 ounce raspberry simple syrup
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • fresh raspberries for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Add the lemon juice, raspberry simple syrup, and vodka to a cocktail shaker. Add a large ice cube or two to the shaker.
  • Shake until very cold (about 10 seconds) before straining the drink into a glass.
  • Garnish with a fresh raspberry or two, if desired.

Notes

  • You can use store bought raspberry syrup if you don't want to make homemade raspberry simple syrup (though it's so easy and delicious that I highly recommend making your own!)
  • Want to shake up two of these drinks? Just double the ingredients in your cocktail shaker.
  • Use raspberry vodka if you really want to amp up the raspberry flavor and color!
