Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed

Instructions

  • Add the water and brown sugar in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Whisk to combine.
  • Over medium heat, bring the water and sugar to a boil, whisking occasionally.
  • Turn the heat down to low and allow the syrup to simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Turn the heat off and allow the syrup to cool completely. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
