Ingredients
  • 2 1/4 cups basmati rice
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tbs vegetable oil
  • juice of 2 limes
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • kosher salt, to taste
Instructions
  1. Combine the rice, water, and bay leaves. Cook according to package directions. I make mine in a rice cooker.

  2. Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork and add the vegetable oil, lime juice, cilantro, and salt. Stir to combine. Taste and add more salt if necessary.
