Ingredients

  • 1 pint strawberries
  • 750 mL vodka

Instructions

  • Wash, hull (if using fresh), and quarter the strawberries. Place them in the container that you'll use for infusing.
  • Add the vodka to the container. Store it in a cool, dry place for 3-5 days, giving the container a gently swirl every now and again.
  • Once the vodka has infused to your liking, strain the strawberries out and discard them.
  • Continue to store the vodka in a cool dry place for about 6 weeks or in the fridge for about 3 months.

Notes

  • 1 serving = 1.5 ounce shot of vodka
  • The photos in this post depict a half batch, whereas the recipe is written for a full batch.
  • Use whatever brand of vodka that you prefer. I like to use something that's good, but not great. There's no need to reach for the top shelf vodka here.
  • Use frozen or fresh strawberries, depending on what you prefer.
