Hard Cider Cranberry Sauce

  • 12 oz. fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup hard craft cider
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • zest of 1 orange
  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pan over medium heat.  

  2. Once things have come up to a simmer, cook for 15 minutes or so. The longer you allow it to cook, the thicker it will become.

  3. Remove the cranberry sauce to a bowl and let it cool. It will continue to thicken as it cools.
