Course: Margaritas
Cuisine: Mexican
Servings: 10
Calories: 280kcal
- 2 cups lime juice freshly squeezed
- 2 cups orange juice freshly squeezed
- ½ cup simple syrup see notes
- 750 mL tequila
- 375 mL triple sec
- lime salt for garnish (optional)
- dried orange slices for garnish (optional)
Combine the juices, simple syrup, tequila, and triple sec in a pitcher. Mix well.
Pour into individual glasses with ice, garnished as desired.
- I highly recommend using freshly squeezed juices. You just can't beat the flavor that fresh juice brings to the table.
- You can add more simple syrup if you prefer a sweeter margarita, or if your oranges aren't terribly sweet.
- Use your favorite tequila (or mezcal, if you want a smoky cocktail).
