Pineapple Margarita
This Pineapple Margarita is sweet, a little tart, and pleasantly spicy. Fresh jalapeños are used to make the tequila, simple syrup, and as a garnish.

- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon Tajín seasoning
- 1.5 ounces jalapeño tequila
- 2 ounces pineapple juice
- 1 ounce lime juice
- ¾ ounces jalapeño simple syrup
- lime wedges pineapple slices, jalapeño slices, for garnish (optional)
Combine the kosher salt and Tajín on a small plate. Rim the glass with the salt and Tajín mixture. Carefully fill the glass with ice. Set aside.
Add the tequila, pineapple and lime juices, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until very cold.
Carefully double strain the margarita into the prepared glass.
Garnish with a lime wedge, pineapple slice, and some jalapeño slices, if desired.
- You can swap mezcal for tequila if you want a smokier margarita
