How to Make S'mores in the Oven

Ingredients

  • 4 graham cracker sheets broken in half along perforation
  • 4 jumbo marshmallows
  • 1 chocolate bar broken into quarters

Instructions

  • Preheat the broiler in the oven and position the oven rack in the middle position.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place 4 graham cracker halves on the parchment paper. Place 1 marshmallow on each graham cracker half.
  • Place the baking sheet on the oven rack under the broiler. Broil for 2 minutes, or until the marshmallow reaches your desired level of toastiness. Make sure to keep a close eye on things, because the marshmallow can go from perfectly golden brown to charred very quickly.
  • Remove the baking sheet from the oven and immediately press a quarter of the chocolate bar onto the marshmallow, followed by another graham cracker half, and smoosh everything down a bit.
