Baked BBQ Buffalo Chicken

I found this recipe in Buffalo Style, by Whitney Bond (author of the blog Little Leopard Book: Cooking Secrets of a Single Girl).  Her blog has quickly become one of my favorites.  I got the cookbook for Christmas from my mom, and have found a few recipes that I need to make pretty much immediately.

This recipe is so simple that it makes me wonder how I didn’t think of it on my own.  Still, it’s a delicious combination of two of my favorite, and most frequently used, sauces.  The chicken is very moist, and the BBQ and hot sauces work well together.

You’ll need:

  • 3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/3 cup hot sauce

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Place the chicken breasts in an oven-safe dish.  Salt and pepper.

In a small bowl, combine the BBQ sauce and hot sauce.  Pour over the chicken breasts.

Bake for 1 hour.
