Happy Thirsty Thursday, everyone! Nothing screams “fiesta” more than margaritas. I know I’ve shown you a few before (like this one, or this one), but honestly, can you ever have enough margarita recipes? This one comes from PopSugar. These margaritas went perfectly with the grilled chicken kebabs we had for dinner last night (if you haven’t seen them yet, do yourself a favor and check them out!).
- 1/2 pint of strawberries
- 1 cup tequila
- 1/2 cup orange liqueur
- 4 limes, juiced
- optional: salt, sugar, lime wedges, extra strawberries (for garnish)
In a blender, combine the strawberries, tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice. Blend.
Fill a pitcher with ice and pour in the blended margarita. Stir well to ensure everything is combined.**
**You could also just add a bunch of ice to the blender along with the other ingredients and make them frozen margaritas, like I did.
Prepare the glasses by rubbing the rims with a lime wedge (or dipping them into lime juice on a plate). Fill a small plate with either salt or sugar, and dip the moistened rims. Divide the margarita into the glasses. If desired, garnish with a lime wedge or additional strawberry. Imbibe immediately!
