Top 10 Most Popular Posts of 2012 (and some of 2011!)

Champagne flutes

I see a lot of “best of”, “favorite”, or “most popular” blog posts this time of year.  And it makes a lot sense, given that it’s the end of the year and a time for reflection.

Even though I just started blogging under this domain name, I have quite a few posts on my old blog (Hey, who cut the cheese?) that have been imported here, and wanted to start doing some reflecting of my own.  Since I didn’t compile one of these sorts of lists last year at this time, and I had only been blogging for 4 months in 2011, I threw in posts from the last few months of 2011, as well.

This was an interesting undertaking.  It was the first time I looked back through ALL of my posts in one sitting.  Some of the most popular entries came as no surprise (it didn’t take me long to discover that people LOVE dessert recipes), but some were a bit unexpected.

Without further ado, I give you the top 10 most popular entries!

10. Panko Crusted Stuffed Chicken Breasts

9. Easy Sauteed Kale

8. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

7. Pecan-Crusted Chicken

6. Homemade Dog and Cat Treats

5. How to hand-pollinate tomato plants + garden update

4. Funfetti Cake Dip

3. Crock Pot Kielbasa, Pork, and Sauerkraut

2. Buffalo Shrimp Dip

1. Strawberry Jello Pretzel Salad

The Strawberry Jello Pretzel Salad was far and away my most popular post.  I think that it’s mostly due to that pin taking off on Pinterest.  Same goes for the Buffalo Shrimp Dip.  Regardless of the reason, I’m just happy that people are viewing my posts!  Thank you all so much for reading.  It really makes my day when I read comments, get to interact with readers, or see that the number of views has gone up.  Happy New Year!

**Just so no one things I’m trying to steal images from anyone, the photo at the top of the page came from Google Images, and evidently was originally featured on this website.
